"OLLI at DU Board Games" is a Shared Interest Group, SIG, free with your OLLI at DU Annual Membership.

" Are you interested in playing some classic board games or learning a new game? Join us! We will be meeting twice a month on Friday afternoons, 1-4pm, at the Enchanted Grounds, 3615 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123 near OLLI South. People are encouraged to bring a game they would like to share with the group and Enchanted Grounds also has some games that we can borrow if we want to try something new. "OLLI at DU Chess Club" is a Shared Interest Group, SIG, free with your OLLI at DU Annual Membership.

Join your fellow OLLI members Tuesday afternoons at the Bean Fosters Coffee House in Golden (720 Golden Ridge Rd, Golden, CO 80401) from 12:45 to 4:45 for open play. You can play in the early session 12:45 – 2:45 or the 2nd session 2:45 – 4:45 or both.

Play interest is solicited each week and players assigned according to their interest and ability as best we can. 

The venue is free but the coffee house does depend on some folks buying coffee and/or food.

OLLI chess class teachers Bob Magnani and Mel Mandel play as well as several former OLLI class participants. We encourage players of all levels to join. You must know how to play (at any level) - this club is not for those who want to learn chess from scratch. But, if you DO want to learn, contact us and we may, if there is enough interest, again offer a beginner's Chess class at OLLI.

OLLI at DU Hiking Group is a Shared Interest Group, SIG, free with your OLLI at DU Annual Membership.

Please join fellow OLLI members on walks and hikes around Metro Denver!

Please note, 9AM start for May. Please be sure you bring plenty of water.

Keep in mind, it may be mud season. If the walks or trails are muddy, we will cancel.

This Shared Interest Group will meet monthly to discuss a book. All decisions (how to select books and meeting places, selecting books, time and dates of meetings, etc.) would be made by group voting and/or consensus. There are several proceedures to select a book, and the members decide which process to use. A member will be selected on a rotational basis to lead the discussion of a book he'd nominated. 

All men over 18 years old are welcome, without regard to race, political orientation, religion, or sexual orientation.

"OLLI at DU Opera" is a Shared Interest Group, SIG, free with your OLLI at DU Annual Membership.

Do you enjoy the Opera? Join together with other OLLI peers who do too! Members of the OLLI at DU Opera Shared Interest Group will:

• Enjoy talks about operas.
• Take trips to see operas locally.
• Take trips to see operas out of town.
• Meetup to talk about the Metropolitan Opera's "Live in HD" series broadcast to many local movie theaters.

"OLLI at DU Mahjong" is a Shared Interest Group, SIG, free with your OLLI at DU Annual Membership.

Come play Mahjong with OLLI peers. For people who have taken the OLLI Mahjong Instruction Classes or are looking for a place to play the game, our group will meet twice a month from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, on Wednesdays at Acoya Cherry Creek (an OLLI partner) 301 S Harrison Street.

We focus on fostering Intellectual Development and Creating Collective Consciousness of women’s issues in today’s world. Members bring their interests/concerns/questions for the group to research, explore, discuss and/or present.

We will meet 10 am to noon every 4th Thursday of the month at Ross Library at University Hills, 4310 E. Amherst Ave., Denver.
