Jewelry and Metalsmithing: Intro and Intermediate

Explore the amazing medium of metal. Learn the fundamentals of metalsmithing to design and fabricate your own jewelry pieces. You will learn to cut, file, solder, texture, and form copper, brass, and silver. Also covered: finishing techniques, chain making, riveting, and basic stone setting.

If you have had an introductory course or previous experience, the instructor will assist you in honing your skills, learning new techniques and completing current projects. Returning students welcome!

This class is open to both beginning and intermediate students. No previous experience necessary. Class fee includes $35 in student supplies. Use of tools and supplies (except silver) are included in your fee.
