Quilting: Beginning

Quilting

Make a complete quilt in 8 weeks! You will learn basic quilting skills and end up with a completely finished quilt, ready to snuggle into. The size of the quilt is up to you. You'll learn how to choose fabric, the tools of the trade, basic rotary cutting, perfect seaming, adding borders without waves in them, sandwiching and quilting your quilt, and binding.

Quilting is not just about beds anymore. It's now a true art form, practiced by both women and men. Come prepared; there will be homework. The amount of homework will depend on the size of the quilt you choose to make. There will be a supply list which we'll go over during the first class meeting. You'll need these supplies by the second class.

Instructor is an award-winning quilter and past president of Quilters Anonymous.

Bring your sewing machine!
