Social Media and HR NEW!

Regardless of whether you’re a Facebook aficionado or have ever “tweeted,” it’s time to accept that social media is here to stay. In this class we’ll look at Facebook, Linked In, Twitter and more; and talk about ways HR can use social media to recruit, orient, train and communicate with employees more effectively. We will also talk about potential pitfalls of social media in terms of employee privacy and data security, as well as negative comments posted on social media about your organization and/or individual supervisors.
