America's Boating Course

Whether you are thinking of buying your first boat or have many sea miles beneath your keel, this boat handling and safety course for the recreational boater will get you on your way. Since 1947 Everett Sail and Power Squadron -- America’s Boating Club of Snohomish County has been teaching boating classes to the recreational boater. The squadron’s award-winning six weeks of classroom instruction covers rules of the road, emergencies on board, as well as anchoring, docking and trailering. This course includes lessons on Personal Water Craft and knot-tying. Upon course completion you can apply for the Washington State Boater Education Card, which is required in the state to operate a recreational power boat. “We teach boaters to be better boaters!”
