This is a Scandinavian delicacy and it's most distinctive dish, Gravlax. This is a cold-cured salmon that has incorporated other fresh ingredients for the curing process. Once done it is cut thinly and used in making a show-stopper dish. New York Style Gravlax Bagel Sandwich.
Participant will learn the steps in the cold-curing process when making Gravlax, as well as learning different ways to use your Gravlax. Eggs Benedict, appetizers and more. I will be demonstrating one delicious New York influenced bagel sandwich which will be served to the students towards the end of the class. Students will leave confident is their ability to cold cured their own Scandinavian Gravlax.
This is a delightful show-stopper and healthy lunch sandwich.
