Prepare for entry-level opportunities in the electronics manufacturing industry through the practice of basic electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, safety and ESD, component identification, common industry terms, safety procedures, and basic hand-soldering skills. Course is 40% lecture and 60% hands-on exercises. Certificate granted upon successful completion of all modules. Each module includes comprehensive testing and grading of workmanship skills. Basic English-language skills required. A soldering kit will be completed in class.
