Earned Value Management (.6 CEUs)  

Earned Value Management is a best practice tool used to help manage scope, schedule, and cost effectively. It can provide an early warning for actions needed to keep projects on track. Learn to use Earned Value Management tools to determine critical vs. non-critical problems. Practice using Earned Value Management formulas commonly used to report and forecast project performance. Course is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOKĀ® Guide) principles. Prerequisite: Project Management Essentials, and Project Planning & Scheduling Techniques, or equivalent. Recommended textbooks: The Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), 6th Ed., Publisher: Project Management Institute, ISBN: 978-1628251845 (5th Ed. allowed to be used through March 26, 2018) and Eric Verzuh, The Fast forward MBA in Project Management, 5th Ed., Publisher: Wiley, ISBN: 978-1119086574.
