French Language and Culture Beginners IV [ONLINE]   

New students with some basic French are welcome! This course is a continuation of French Language and Culture for Beginners III.

To enroll in this class, students must have a basic knowledge of the alphabet, numbers, introductions, basic French vocabulary and conjugations.

Using a communicative/conversational approach, students will review and expand their knowledge of beginning French including conversation, pronunciation, listening, reading, and simple writing.

Students will learn how to use basic grammar and conjugation to develop their conversation skills about everyday life such as greetings, family, time, weather, shopping, likes and dislikes, food, travel, and more.

The French Culture component will focus on a general introduction to the French-speaking world (La Francophonie), with topics such as geography, history, literature, art, cultural values, beliefs and attitudes, and special topics.

This class will be conducted mainly in French.
