French Language and Culture Beginners IV [ONLINE]   

This course is designed for students with little or no knowledge in French and who want to learn the fundamentals of French Language and culture.

Using a communicative and fun approach, students will be introduced to the basics of the language including the alphabet, numbers, pronunciation, and some grammar and conjugation. Conversation and vocabulary will focus on everyday life such as greetings, customs, family, places and nationalities and learning how to maximize vocabulary learning through various tools including cognates, media, online resources, and more.

The French Culture component will focus on a general overview of the French-speaking world

 (La Francophonie) with topics such as geography, history, literature, art, cultural values, beliefs and attitudes, food, current events, and special topics of interest.

This class will be conducted 85% in French.
