French Language and Culture Beginners V [ONLINE]   

This course is designed for students with some knowledge in French who want to study the fundamentals of French Language and culture. This is the fifth course in a five-part beginners series.

Using a communicative and fun approach, students will be introduced to the basics of the language including pronunciation,  grammar, and conjugation. Conversation and vocabulary will focus on everyday life such as greetings, customs, family, places and nationalities, and learning how to maximize vocabulary learning using tools including cognates, media, online resources, and more.

The French Culture component will focus on a general overview of the French-speaking world

(La Francophonie) with topics such as geography, history, literature, art, cultural values, beliefs and attitudes, food, current events, and special topics of interest.

This class will be conducted 85% in French.
