Counterintelligence 102 - The China Threat [ON CAMPUS]

Counterintelligence 102 will focus on the Chinese threat to US national security. Briefly, the course content:

     - Broad issues of the global political/diplomatic/commercial relationship and its postwar history.

     - The current, unfavorable balance of military power and Chinese efforts to counter and eventually expel US forces from the Indo-Pacific region.

-The Chinese espionage and intelligence collection attack on US classified information, plus commercial information, intellectual property, advanced research, trade secrets, manufacturing and production techniques, all by means of technology theft and extortion, cyber attacks, and massive personnel resources.

     - Starting with the FBI and the Indo-Pacific Command, US countermeasures (current and projected) to neutralize and defeat such attacks, in concert with our major allies and regional victims of Chinese bullying, and the pathetic results of such efforts, to date.
