Searching for a career path? Join the exciting world of advanced manufacturing! Well-paying high-tech jobs in our area are waiting for skilled employees. This six-month program, offered in partnership with G.W. Lisk and ITT Goulds Pumps, prepares students for immediate employment by obtaining middle-skills training to become machinists on the way to a successful career in advanced manufacturing. The program will focus on developing skills in safe operation of machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders and drill presses, with an emphasis on setting up and running CNC machines and precision measuring equipment.

- Geometric Dimensioning
- Machine Shop Safety
- Engineering Drawing
- Lab Instruction
- CNC Mill and Lathe
- Metrology
Starting in employment, machinists pay is based on knowledge - the more you learn the more you can make. This program is a starting point and can provide a sustainable wage that increases over time in a company. You may start at a higher rate if you demonstrate advanced machining skills after completing the program.

Requirements
Students must:
- Be 18 years old
- Have high school diploma or GED
- Have a valid Photo ID, Driver's license preferred
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Pass a drug screen
