Annual Governor’s Summit on Early Language and Literacy   

Welcome to the registration page for the 2024 Governor’s Summit on Early Language and Literacy: The Brain-Building Network. We are delighted to have you join us for this exciting event! The Annual Governor's Summit, proudly sponsored by the Sandra Dunagan Deal Center, serves as a statewide platform for experts, educators, legislators and community partners to come together and share research and best practices that advance early language and literacy development. Through meaningful discussion and collaboration, we aim to empower communities across the state to ensure that every child meets their potential. We look forward to your participation in continuing the important work of transforming ideas into practical solutions so that everyone has the tools to support children on the path to literacy.

    11:30am - 12:30pm - Registration
    12:30pm - 4:00pm - Summit
    6:30pm - 8:30pm - Dinner with the Deal Center (this is a separate registration process)

    July 18:
    7:30am - 8:30am – Registration & Breakfast
    8:30am - 3:30pm - Summit

    Dinner with the Deal Center: Fundraising Gala in Support of Language and Literacy

    The Dinner with the Deal Center Fundraiser will take place on July 17th, 2024, at 6:30 pm in the Magnolia Ballroom at Georgia College & State University. We are offering single admission tickets, couple's tickets, and tables for eight. If unable to attend, a monetary donation of your choice is appreciated.
