    Students who have been placed into Learning Support English and/or Math may choose to take the Accuplacer to attempt exemption from Learning Support requirements. Taking the test is optional. Dual enrollment students and students whose first language is not English may also use the Accuplacer for admission purposes.

    This Accuplacer session is held in person at the GHC Cartersville Testing Center, located in Building A, Room 210, at 5441 Highway 20 NE, Cartersville, GA 30121.

    The test fee is $30, paid in advance. Refunds are not available. If you miss your appointment, you may reschedule by contacting Testing Services at 706‑204‑2110 or testing@highlands.edu.

    Parking: Visitor parking is available in the large lot north of the Student Center. Handicapped parking is located in the row south of Building A.

    You will receive an email with details about your test session. Please check both your inbox and your spam/junk folders.

    What to Bring

    1. A current, government‑issued photo ID with signature (driver’s license, passport, state ID, military ID, or school ID).

    2. Optional: blank paper and pencils/pens.

    3. Personal items are not permitted in the Testing Center. Leave belongings at home or in your vehicle. Calculators are not allowed.
