Join OLLI friends on a visit to Saint Gaudens, its exhibits, outdoor sculptures and gardens. We will also visit the Plainfield Library and Town Hall, where we will learn about the Cornish Art Colony and view rare and carefully preserved artwork done by two residents of the Colony - Maxfield Parrish (a stage set from 1916) and Lucia Fairchild Fuller (a mural for the Women's Building of the Chicago Exhibition in 1893). |
$82 tour fee will be added to your registration. Total cost for members is $102.
This includes:
- Luxury bus transportation
- Admission to St. Gaudens National Historic site,
- Presentation on the Cornish Art Colony,
- Visits to the Plainfield Library and Town Hall
- Enrollment in the OLLI at UNH course, Cornish Colony: A Rural Haven for Artists (Online via Zoom - May 1, 10:30AM - 12:00 Noon)
Lunch will be on your own from a selection of 3 restaurants in the area.
