Our music, dance, & culture classes allow you to sing in a choir, travel or learn more about other art forms.


All classes are 'graded' as complete/incomplete at the discretion of the instructor based on the student's attendance and participation.

Additional Information: Open to singers in grades 9-12 and adults. Singers must purchase concert attire. Class will not meet 3/7.

Course Materials/Supplies: Students will need to provide the following items:
  • Pencil
  • One case of water
  • Performance attire: Choristers will need to purchase a GFCMSU Choir Shirt. Women will need to provide: black skirt or pants, black close-toed dress shoes, black stockings. Men will need to provide: black dress pants, black belt, black dress shoes and black socks.

Music will be provided by the instructor.
Course Outline: Each class/rehearsal will follow this basic outline:
  • Attendance
  • Announcements
  • Vocal and Physical Warm-Up
  • Rehearsal on selected choral literature
The instructor will provide a more detailed course calendar on the first day of class.
