Take the Graphic Design Certificate Part 1 (2 Class Series) at a discounted rate. In Part 1, you will learn about the principles of design and how they will affect your projects for print and web. You will also use Photoshop to effectively select and layer your compositions, retouch images and improve photos with color corrections and image adjustments.
Prerequisites: Basic computer skills and Windows proficiency.

Required Software
Participants are required to purchase a student version of Adobe CC for use during class as well as to practice and reinforce the skills learned. Additional information on how to purchase a student version will be provided by the instructor in the first session.
Program Completion
Part 1 includes the first two of six required courses. To earn the Graphic Design Certificate, you must take all six required courses; attend 80 percent of the first five courses (based on number of sessions in each course) and 100 percent of the Capstone course; participate in class; and complete the Graphic Design Certificate Capstone course per the outlined requirements.
Notes:
- Expect 2-6 hours of work outside of class for Photoshop CC.
- During in-person instruction, please bring a USB flash drive (minimum 4GB) to class to save your work.
