Cyberwars: The Digital Conflict

Cyberwarfare refers to the use of digital attacks by one on country to disrupt the computer systems of another to create significant damage. This is still a ill-defined area of conflict, but one that is increasingly important and dangerous. Like traditional conflicts, cyberwarfare comes in many shapes and sizes, but it is increasingly clear that cyberwarfare will be significant in future conflicts. Computer hackers will use computer code to attack infrastructure changing the nature of war beyond conventional weaponry. Join instructor Rich Elfers as he helps you understand the history of cyber warfare and more about the nations at the forefront of these efforts ; the U.S., Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. The stakes are high.
