Basic Pruning   

Learn the basics of pruning so you can do it the right way! The instructor is an experienced Arborist and Horticulturist, and will explain the reasons to prune, how pruning affects plant growth, and the influence it has on flowering and fruiting. Learn how to use the tools of the trade to prune evergreen and deciduous trees, shrubs, etc.

Basic Pruning is offered in two classes. Please sign up for each class individually.

Class 1: Covers the tools, the basics of pruning and when to prune and how to maximize plant production with pruning. 

Class 2: Is a hands-on practicum of pruning. You will learn where to make your cuts and handle your tools.
