User Experience (UX) Design Certificate Part 1 (2 Class Series)   

Take the UX Design Certificate Part 1 (2 Class Series) at a discounted rate. In Part 1, you'll get a solid introduction to the principles and activities in the UX design field. You'll also learn how to read and write HTML and CSS, and gain exposure to industry-standard online content management tools.

Prerequisite: Basic computer skills, proficiency with Windows and familiarity with the Internet.

Program Completion

Part 1 includes the first two of five required courses. To earn the User Experience Design Certificate, you must take all five required courses; attend 80 percent of the first four courses (based on number of sessions in each course) and 100 percent of the Capstone course; participate in class; and complete the User Experience Design Certificate Capstone project per the outlined requirements.

Please have the following supplies on-hand prior to the virtual class start date:

  • Fine Tip Markers (Sharpie or other)
  • Highlighters
  • White Printer Paper (Letter size - 8 1/2 x 11)
  • Card Stock Paper (Letter or legal sized)
  • Sticky Notes (Variety of sizes and colors)
  • Removable Wall Tape (Painter's or masking tape that will not damage the wall)
  • Notepad or Notebook
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Transparent Scotch Tape
