In this course, you will learn about how to get started in this incredible lifetime sport that is family friendly and affordable. Your Instructor will discuss the essential equipment, how to dress, where to go for day trips, overnighters, and extended getaways. You will also learn how to get snow condition, and grooming reports for Washington XC ski areas. There is an outing to local Cross Country Ski areas for hands on experience on the trails. This is packaged as a bundle because the classroom session is a pre-requisite for the outing. This instructor has over 30 years of experience organizing and leading group Cross Country Ski trips in Washington and all over the west.
