Introduction to Hiking in the Pacific NW   

Learn how to get started in this incredible life-long activity.  We have tremendous hiking opportunities year around, both locally and regionally in the Northwest.  In this session you will learn about how to dress for success on the trails including footwear options.  We’ll cover what essential accessories you need, and how to be prepared for all kinds of conditions.  Finally we’ll cover where to go for both day trips and regional get-a-way adventures.   Class will include a resource notebook loaded with info about where and when to go.  Instructor has organized and led hiking expeditions in the NW for over 30 years.
