CompTIA A+ is the industry standard for establishing a career in IT, and it is the foundation of an IT career. A+ candidates are better prepared to troubleshoot and problem solve a wider variety of issues, ranging from networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security. Prerequisite includes current IT Essentials Certification or equivalent with instructor permission. Earning your A+ certification gives you an internationally recognized credential. Leading companies around the world are hiring A+ certified professionals like you. Online, self-paced, mentor led with most up to date curriculum. Course includes e-book and exam voucher.
Course Structure: Online, self-paced, mentor-led with the most up-to-date curriculum. Students complete assignments on their own schedule while having the ability to request a “live” meeting with the instructor (in-person or via Zoom). This provides maximum flexibility while also having the benefit of meeting with an instructor for support.
Materials and Exam: Course price includes e-book, access to the required labs, and an exam voucher (upon completion of the program).
Course Dates and Length: This is an open-enrollment program, which means student may register for and begin the program at any point during the quarter. Please see specific Activation Guidelines below. Students will have six months from the date of registration to complete the certificate.
Refund Policy
Refunds are only available prior to the first day of the quarter for which you are registered.
- Summer quarter 2023: The last date to withdraw and receive a refund is 07/06/23. Registrations received during the quarter are not eligible for refund.
- Unexpected Circumstances: In the event of unusual circumstances which prevent a student from continuing in the course, the student may petition the Continuing Education refund committee. Contact ce@greenriver.edu for information about this.
Non-Credit Courses: CE courses are non-credit and do not count toward credit-bearing degrees or certificates at Green River College.
