Create a gallery of artwork! In each lesson, students will paint a different themed art piece with step-by-step instruction using acrylic paints. Students will learn techniques and best practices to nurture the artists in all of them, learn interesting facts about the weekly painting subjects, and gain confidence to explore painting and artistic freedom further. This course is geared toward beginner students, and no experience is necessary! 

Suppy List:

(5) 11"x14" Canvases (such as the Artist's Loft Necessities Value pack from Michael's)

A variety of Paint brushes (such as the 25-piece brush set from Artist's Loft Necessities)

(1) Bottle of 8-ounce White Acrylic paint (such as Craftsmart)

(1) Bottle of 8-ounce Black Acrylic paint (such as Craftsmart)

(1) Bottle of 8-ounce Bright Yellow Acrylic paint (such as Craftsmart)

(1) Bottle of 8-ounce Bright Blue Acrylic paint (such as Craftsmart)

(1) Bottle of 8-ounce Bright Red Acrylic paint (such as Craftsmart)

Additional Supplies:

Paint palette (cardboard or paper plates work) 

Paper plates (we use them as a fan to speed up the drying process) 

A plastic cup with water to clean brushes

Paper towels

An apron or clothes you don't mind getting dirty
