AI is no longer a distant possibility, it's shaping the way we work, think, and engage today. AI//NOW is a quarterly seminar series designed to help professionals, entrepreneurs, and teams keep pace with the present real-world impacts of Artificial Intelligence. The series blends foundational knowledge with job-specific applications, offering topics such as: prompt engineering, language models, project management applications, design tools, and more.

    Keller teaches courses in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and software development at Green River College. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Development and a Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence. Prior to teaching at Green River, he worked as a software engineer at Avanade, consulting on full-stack software systems for a variety of clients including Accenture and Microsoft. His professional interests include AI-driven application development, full-stack software engineering, and creating engaging learning experiences in STEM.

    Seminar Topic Description: 

    Artificial intelligence is here, and it’s the engine accelerating innovation across every industry. Yet for many professionals, the vocabulary, capabilities, and pace of change can feel overwhelming. This session cuts through the noise to deliver a clear, practical understanding of the current AI landscape.

    Attendees will be guided through the most important AI concepts, from foundational terminology to language models that are reshaping the way we work. We’ll explore real-world applications, compare today’s leading tools, and identify approachable ways for any skill level to begin incorporating AI into day-to-day tasks. By the end, attendees will improve their aptitude in speaking about AI, evaluating solutions, and spotting opportunities to leverage new technologies within their daily work and organizations.
