Royal Icing and Sugar Cookie Decorating   

Discover the sweet art of sugar cookie decorating in this two-part hands-on course at Green River College!

In part 1, Marcy will cover the essentials of Icing and dive into the colorful world of royal icing focusing on mastering icing consistencies, coloring techniques, and piping basics. You'll also learn how to prepare and handle royal icing for different decorating styles, from outlining to flooding, and explore creative ways to bring your designs to life.

In part 2, she will focus on the basics of sugar cookie decorating. After familiarizing yourself with the icing process, it's time to meet the sugar cookie and appy your icing skills! You'll practice decorating techniques, explore layering and texture, and leave with beautifully decorated cookies and the confidence to create more at home.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a fun and interactive introduction to the world of royal icing and sugar cookies. 

Please note, $10 is due to the Instructor on the first day of class for ingredients.
