In this hands-on workshop, you'll practice using AI to build a realistic personal budget, and translate financial jargon into plain language, no math or technical background required. Using free versions of tools like Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT, you'll see practical ways AI can help you identify and categorize your spending, explain your bills, and navigate complex financial websites. A strong focus is placed on safety and privacy, including what not to share, how to easily redact documents, and how to avoid bad deals and misinformation.

Learn how to masterfully paint and fire a pop color and/or realistic pet portrait on glass. Detailed results are easy to achieve with preparation, patience, attention to detail, and the enthusiasm to be creative and have fun! You will use Color Line Glass Enamels to paint then fire your pet portrait masterpiece onto a glass base tile. Detailed instructions on how to take a good picture of your pet will be emailed to registered students before the course begins. Please note, there is an additional $150 materials and firing fee, which will be paid directly to the instructor. This fee covers all the materials and tools; color enamels, accessory glass such as: frit (ground glass), powders, brushes, paint jars, basic color palette and the requisite firing.  This relaxing, hands-on class is designed for students of all skill levels. Summer Steelhead opportunities are alive and well both locally and regionally. During the lecture, you will learn about tackle and equipment, essential lures and baits, and where to go for success. Lecture also includes a resource guide loaded with information about summer steelhead and fishing opportunities. Students who sign up for the bundle will attend an outing to a local river for hands-on instruction and fishing. Rod, reel, and line set-ups can be rented from the Instructor for $10.

You'll learn what to plant and when, using three themed garden plans that make it easy to grow what you cook. You'll focus on fall friendly vegetables that grow well in Seattle's cooler weather and lower light.
