You can help bridge the communication and cultural gap between hearing and Deaf Americans. Learn beginning signs, basic grammar, and common phrases of American Sign Language. You will study the manual alphabet, fingerspelling, numbers, greetings and introductions, and more. Gain a new perspective of the Deaf community through a focus on Deaf culture. You will begin to develop a working knowledge that can be used in many situations.
Your instructor is deaf and reads lips, but class will mostly be conducted by immersion.

You'll get the most from this class if your digital camera is capable of shooting in FULLY MANUAL mode. Point-and-shoot cameras are NOT recommended.

Take your general knowledge about photography to the next level! Focus will be on more advanced lessons in exposure, composition, and lighting techniques to achieve different effects.
Subjects may include flowers, architecture, portraiture, and more. There will be classroom time spent on reviewing and critiquing examples. A portion of this class may be spent off site photographing different subjects, receiving in-depth instruction.
You should have a basic understanding of aperture and shutter speed. Beginning Digital Photography is a prerequisite. Point-and-shoot cameras are NOT recommended, you should have a Digital SLR camera and a tripod.

“Wow, you have a great voice!” Have you heard that more times than you can count? Or maybe you listen to your favorite audiobooks, commercials, or cartoon characters and think, “I could do that!” Want to earn income using your talents from the comfort of your home? If so, then you could have what it takes to begin working as a professional Voiceover Artist. Explore the voiceover industry with your instructor, a professional, working voice actor from Voices For All, in a one-on-one, personalized, video chat setting.
In this one time, 90-minute, introductory class, you’ll also learn about the different types of voiceovers and the tools you’ll need to find success. Your instructor will record you as you read a real script, taking notes on your performance to create a professional voiceover evaluation delivered to you in a follow up call. You owe it to yourself to finally explore the possibilities of this fun and rewarding field!
Upon registration you will be contacted by Voices For All to schedule your class for a day and time of your convenience.

Bring your sewing machine and learn from the expert from The Sewing Palace – how to clean, maintain, and USE your machine, no matter the make or model. If you haven't yet purchased a machine, there are a limited
number available to borrow.
You’ll create a simple zippered pouch, a decorative pillow, and a shopping tote and more (if time permits!) All the materials, thread, and fabric for the projects will be included in one kit from the
instructor at the first class. Plan to arrive early for setup.
