    Take your general knowledge about photography to the next level! Focus will be on more advanced lessons in exposure, composition, and lighting techniques to achieve different effects.

    Subjects may include flowers, architecture, portraiture, and more. We will spend some classroom time reviewing and critiquing examples. A portion of this class may be spent off-site photographing different subjects and receiving in-depth instruction.

    You should have a basic understanding of aperture and shutter speed. Beginning Digital Photography is a prerequisite. Point-and-shoot cameras are NOT recommended; you should have a Digital SLR camera and a tripod.

    Take your sewing skills to the next level! In this two-session class, you’ll create a stylish and functional Clam Up Bag. First, you will practice fabric cutting and quilt your fabric. In the second week, you will assemble your bag and install a zipper with confidence. Your $40 materials fee includes supplies to make two bags, plus a pattern with an instructional video, so you can keep creating at home. Perfect for continuing your sewing journey!

    Explore the art of Steelhead fly tying, with a focus on summer run patterns for the Clearwater, Deschutes, Grand Ronde, Salmon, and Snake rivers. You’ll learn to tie classic flies inspired by Glasso, Johnson, Kaufmann, Jackson, and Lemire while building core skills in proportions, hook selection, body styles, and material choices. By the end of the class, you’ll complete at least 10 flies using a variety of natural and synthetic materials.
