There is an ongoing demand for qualified Home Health Aides/Personal Care Aides to work in clients’ private homes and in assisted living facilities. Candidates must read at 6th grade level as determined by an assessment test. HHA duties include assisting clients in personal care, escorting clients to medical appointments, shopping, paying bills, etc. Course hours include 85 classroom hours which includes 1 hour study skills, plus 5 hours of CPR training.
Textbooks are included in tuition.
Prerequisite: Complete medical clearance due by the second week of class.
