This 6 hour course is designed to fulfill the training required for the prevention and intervention of harassment, bullying, cyber-bullying and discrimination for certification and licensure under the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA). The course will address the social patterns of harassment, bullying and discrimination.
You will gain an understanding of how school climate and culture affect student achievement and behavior. Participants will leave with concrete ideas that they can implement in their work environment. Interactive strategies, discussion and media will be used to meet the certification requirements. Note: Late students will not be admitted (per NYS requirement).
