8-Hour Site Safety Coordinator

This course is a shortened version of the 40-hour Site Safety Manager course that will introduce students to the hazards of working in the New York City construction environment and the specific methods and work practices that are necessary on an urban construction site. This course is one of the requirements all applicants must successfully complete in order to apply for Site Safety Coordinator or to register for or renew a Construction Superintendent license with the NYC DOB. Prerequisite: Registered architect, licensed engineer, OR have 5 years of construction supervision/safety experience, including 3 years supervising major buildings.
