Any other training courses offered in Florida are not affiliated with FACA and is not our curriculum. We only have access to and maintain records for certifications issued for successful completion for FACA courses only in our database. We do not have access to certifications or courses from other course providers.
40-hour Animal Control Officer training course
Florida State Statute 828.27 mandates that animal control officers successfully complete a 40-hour minimum standards training course. Florida Animal Control Association is the only organization statutorily required and responsible for approving curriculum for the 40-hour Animal Control Officer training course. We currently partner with Valencia College, Daytona State College, and Polk State College to offer our course curriculum.
