COURSE: This specialized course provides training on the statutory, constitutional, judicial, and practical requirements governing forfeiture under the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act, emphasizing the judicious and lawful application of forfeiture authority. Participants will receive instruction on sections 932.701–932.7062, Florida Statutes, and the long-standing guidelines developed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Florida Sheriffs Association, and the Florida Police Chiefs Association.
NOTE: Students must attend all sessions of the course.
