- Training Authorization forms must be signed by an authorized agency representative.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 16-hour course reviews the rules for obtaining and analyzing breath samples during breath testing and meets the requirements to certify the breath test operator’s permit using the Intoxilyzer 8000 series instrument. Training will include the role of the breath test operator, the instrumentation used to analyze breath test samples, how to properly obtain reliable breath samples, and the proper way to administer a breath test using the Intoxilyzer 8000.

• Understand the requirements outlining qualifications to apply and maintain a BTO permit
