This course is a 10-day night course from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday
COURSE: This course is designed to provide criminal justice officers with information regarding narcotics and dangerous drug investigations. This course will provide an understanding of the problematic, legal, investigative, and evidentiary aspects of narcotic and dangerous drug investigations, and how they relate to money laundering.
TOPICS COVERED: Trends and Recognition, Informative Analysis, Case Development, Investigative and Prosecutorial Strategy, Investigative and Interview Techniques, Case Documentation, Evidence Collection and Preservation, and Post-arrest Strategy and Trial Preparation.
NOTE: Students are required to attend the entire course and pass a final exam with a minimum score of 80%.
