Participants will delve into the fundamentals and best investigatory practices of the most popular digital currency platforms such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Monero (XMR) as well as the payment services that incorporate cryptocurrencies for payments like Venmo, CashApp, Revolut, etc. Participants will gain a deep understanding of their underlying technologies, transaction mechanisms, and unique features.
This course is designed to provide law enforcement professionals with an understanding of the digital currency landscape, from basic concepts to advanced investigative techniques. Attendees will gain practical skills through hands-on exercises and real-world case studies, ensuring they are well-prepared to navigate and combat criminal activities involving digital assets.
