This class is 24 hours and is not a salary incentive course.
Training Authorization forms must be signed by an authorized agency representative.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: During this 24 hour course, the student will learn the role of an agency inspector as it relates to ensuring evidentiary breath test instruments are providing accurate and reliable results. A written final exam is given requiring a minimum score of 80% to pass the course. Students must attend all sessions of the course.

COURSE TOPICS INCLUDE: Dynamics of Breath Testing, Instrumentation, Release Sample Device, Alcohol Reference Solutions and Dry Gas, Standards Conducting the Agency Inspection, Courtroom Testimony

To attend this training the participant must be a Florida law enforcement officer, assistant state attorney, or Non-Sworn member employed by a law enforcement agency. There duties must include the administration of the Breath Test Operator.
