Basic Life Support   

Basic Life Support is commonly referred to as CPR.  This is a 4- hour class for health care professionals or the standard layperson looking to learn the skills of lifesaving CPR.  Anyone is eligible to take this course and the certification is issued from the American Heart Association and will remain valid for two years.

The Training Center is a Key component of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Training Network. The ACLS, BLS and or PALS training courses we offer play an important role in helping the American Heart Assoc. achieve its mission efficiently and effectively.

The mission of the AHA as well the Training Center and the Institute for EMS Education is to reduce disability and death from cardiac and respiratory emergencies and stroke by improving the chain of survival and public awareness in every community.
