Advanced Cardiac Life Support   

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course is a two day course that covers resuscitation and treatment of patients with cardiac arrhythmias. First time students will receive 14 hours of CEU's upon completion of the course for the Board of Nursing and Bureau of EMS.

    All students must have the 2020 AHA ACLS Provider Manual and complete the the pre-test on page 2.  The book is available at the bookstore at 386-506-3234.  The classroom is in the basement of Bldg. 320

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) course is a one day course. The ACLS recertification is only available to those who has previously completed the 2day course and needs to renew their certification. 

    All students must have the 2020 AHA ACLS Provider Manual and complete the the pre-test on page 2 with a score of 70% or better to enter the recertification course.  The book is available at the bookstore at 386-506-3234.  The classroom is in the basement of Bldg. 320

The Training Center is a Key component of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Training Network. The ACLS, BLS and or PALS training courses we offer play an important role in helping the American Heart Assoc. achieve its mission efficiently and effectively.

The mission of the AHA as well the Training Center and the Institute for EMS Education is to reduce disability and death from cardiac and respiratory emergencies and stroke by improving the chain of survival and public awareness in every community.
