Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course focuses on assessment and treatment of the pediatric patient. Upon successful completion of the courses the participant will receive 14 CEU,s. Note: Nurses, we can only award CEU,s if it your first time taking the course as a nurse in the state of Florida. Prerequisites: must be a licensed health care provider (MD,DO,PharmD, EMT-P, RespiratoryTherapy etc.
All students must have the 2020 AHA PALS Provider Manual and complete the the pre-test on page 2. The book is available at the bookstore at 386-506-3234. The classroom is in the basement of Bldg. 320

The Training Center is a Key component of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Training Network. The ACLS, BLS and or PALS training courses we offer play an important role in helping the American Heart Assoc. achieve its mission efficiently and effectively.
The mission of the AHA as well the Training Center and the Institute for EMS Education is to reduce disability and death from cardiac and respiratory emergencies and stroke by improving the chain of survival and public awareness in every community.
