Basic Digital Photography for Law Enforcement Officers   

This course is designed specifically for those who are currently active in digital photographic documentation of crime scenes and all other forms of photography within the scope of law enforcement. We will guide you through the proper use of your department-issued digital camera as well as in the documentation of crime scenes and specific evidence. This will be accomplished through a series of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on applications. You will be required to photographically record mock evidence with your departmentally-issued camera throughout the training. The course requires full attendance of all scheduled instruction and completion of all planned projects.

Course length:  20 hours
