Critical Incident Threat Workshop

It’s called the “Ferguson Effect”: A high-profile critical incident resulting in widespread and violent civil unrest. This can occur in any jurisdiction no matter the size. And with the 24-hour news cycle and the proliferation of social media, a considerable amount of negative attention and embarrassment can be cast upon your agency in a very short period of time. Is your agency prepared?

This fast paced workshop will quickly get to the key issues, while providing guidance and direction to developing plans of action. There's no fluff or filler, just straight, to the point information to help assess agency readiness and preparedness.

Topics Include

  • Pre-Incident Readiness: focusing on planning and communication
  • Ongoing Review: ensuring that the agency maintains readiness with regards to recruitment and hiring, training, and bridge-building with the community
  • During The Incident: implementation of the plan and working with the media to keep the public informed
  • After the Incident: providing for time and attention to analysis, review, and critique from all players involved (government and community)

Law enforcement administrators, command personnel, government officials, community leaders, private security
