Case Preparation and Courtroom Presentation (VoD)

This Video on Demand (VoD) will help you prepare to face the rigors of both direct and cross examinations. We will pay particular attention to challenges to your expertise and attempts to block or preclude your testimony.

From consulting and pre-trial deposition testimony through re-direct and re-cross examinations, we will reveal time tested strategies for preparing your case and effective techniques for presenting your testimony in an objective and professional manner.

Proper courtroom decorum, protocols for using demonstrative exhibits, answering difficult questions, and avoiding professional pitfalls during your testimony will all be discussed. In addition, you will learn the crucial differences between criminal trials and civil trials and will gain a better understanding of the goal of the trial -- such as acquittal, hung jury, or conviction (in a criminal trial) versus sharing the liability among involved parties (comparative and contributory negligence) in a civil matter.
