Correctly Recognizing and Safely Handling (CRASH) Evidence (VoD)   

Correctly Recognizing and Safely Handling (CRASH) Evidence is a unique training program developed for first-responding patrol officers, firefighters, and emergency medical service (EMS) personnel. This two-hour video on demand will introduce the concept of crash reconstruction, explaining how and why they are conducted and how we, as responders, can play a crucial role in assisting with these investigations. During this course, you will learn how to recognize, preserve, and apply new adaptive procedures to aid in these complex investigations.

  • Types of crash scenes
  • Recognizing and preserving crash evidence
  • Airbag Control Modules (ACMs) and their role in crash investigation
  • Scenario-based exercises to explain and prevent common errors
