This advanced, hands-on course is designed for experienced law enforcement motorcycle officers seeking to enhance their operational riding skills. Training focuses on high-performance maneuvering, precision control, and emergency response techniques critical to real-world police duties.
You will develop proficiency in high-speed cornering and braking, tight-space and slow-speed navigation, obstacle avoidance, and handling emergency scenarios, including vehicle malfunctions and high-stress incident response. Emphasis is placed on officer safety, control under pressure, and operational readiness.
You will be assessed through practical riding evaluations and scenario-based drills that replicate real-life law enforcement challenges. Upon completion, officers will return to duty with improved capability, confidence, and safety awareness - contributing to greater overall unit effectiveness.

This course is restricted to active law enforcement personnel.
Course Length

Prerequisite(s)
Completion of a Basic Police Motorcycle Operator Course (or equivalent), and currently assigned to a motor unit, or approval from the department training supervisor.
What to Bring
- Your department-issued motorcycle, currently assigned to you, or a similar motorcycle approved by IPTM for range and street riding exercises. The bike should be in good condition and have a pre-course maintenance check.
- Rain gear
- Boots that cover your ankle or dress boots
- Riding gloves
- Light or heavy jacket (depending on weather)
- Eye protection/sunglasses
- Approved helmet
- Ample supply of jeans/casual wear
