  • Failure Mode & Effect Analysis 4-Hr

  • During this 4-hour FMEA overview, participants will learn a systematic approach that identifies potential failure modes in a manufacturing/assembly operation caused by manufacturing/assembly process deficiencies. Participants will also learn how to identify critical process characteristics that require special controls to prevent or detect failure modules. Audience- This program is designed for engineering, program management, quality, and any other personnel who need information on the implementation of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis.

  • Managing Successful Projects

  • This in-person workshop provides project managers with people management and project management skills necessary for the successful completion of formal projects and the smaller "to do" list projects. Audience- This course is designed for anyone who is leading a project or is involved in a project. Front line to mid-level managers, team leaders, team members, entry-level project managers or key support people involved with the project.

Participants will learn drafting and blueprint reading procedures, alphabet of lines, auxiliary views, assembly drawings, title blocks, drawing changes and standard symbols. Emphasis is placed on actual industrial conditions and applications. Audience- Anyone who reads prints in a manufacturing setting, especially operators, inspectors and supervisors will benefit from this program.

  • Root Cause Analysis- 8D Problem Solving

  • This program is designed to cultivate analytical problem-solving thinking and the development skills to apply the structured 8-D Corrective Action approach at the individual and team level. Audience- Companies are encouraged to send teams of co-workers to address an identified company problem. Participants will be given the problem solving tools and processes to implement at their site. Follow-up sessions can be scheduled to assure desired outcomes are achieved.

  • Total business-enterprise optimization starts with a strategic view of the process and drill down to the tactical and operational levels. A process map outlines both the optimal and sub-optimal paths. Learn a unique process mapping technique that is easy to learn, and effective to use to enhance process compliance. In this course, participants will create business process maps unique to their organization. Audience- Business owners, senior leadership, and upper management responsible for creating and managing business processes.

  • Lean Simulation

  • The Lean Simulation is the first step in the education process because it lets participants discover (by making paper airplanes) the impact of Lean Thinking. The hands-on exercise teaches fundamental precepts of Lean Manufacturing. Participants will learn and practice Takt time, one-piece flow, JIT production, visual workplace, pull systems, work balance and continuous improvement.
