Lawson State Community College Workforce Development
The OSHA 10-Hour Training Program provides entry-level workers with essential knowledge and skills to recognize, avoid, and prevent workplace hazards. Developed through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Training Program, the course promotes a culture of safety and health in the workplace. - Worker rights and employer responsibilities under OSHA regulations
- Hazard identification and risk prevention
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Fall prevention and walking/working surface safety
- Electrical safety awareness
- Hazard Communication (HazCom) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Emergency action procedures and fire prevention
