Medication Aide   

On Campus -  Evening Program

The Medication Aide Certification (MAC) Program includes 60 hours of theory instruction and 40 hours of clinical instruction. The program is held Monday-Thursday from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and includes in person, remote, and clinical instruction. Upon successful completion of the program, a paid in full tuition status, negative drug screen results, and a clean background check, students will meet eligibility requirements to apply for the Medication Aide credentialing test, and upon passing, earn (MAC) credentials. Students will also receive a Certificate of Completion from Lawson State Community College.

*Financial assistance is available, if eligible, through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

*Qualified applicants must possess a high diploma or GED.
