Discover drawing with a variety of materials and surfaces. Create finished products such as unique gift boxes, greeting cards, and more. We will work with both dry and water-based materials, on surfaces ranging from paper to glass. Investigate techniques for creating representational and abstract imagery with pen and ink, watercolor pencils, colored pencils, pastels, glass paints, and unconventional tools. For those who enjoy drawing, this course will expand your tool box of possibilities. Whether you are an experienced artist or someone wanting to explore your creative side, this class is for you!
Participants will need to provide their own supplies prior to the start of class. Supply list:
- One pad of multimedia or watercolor paper
- Drawing pencils 4B or 6B preferred
- A white vinyl eraser
- A fine point sharpie
- A basic watercolor set
